“Crazy” was the third song I wrote in the early ’90s, back when I was clearly still figuring out how emotions actually work.
It’s about that state where your feelings get out of hand over someone you like. You can’t get her out of your head, no matter how much you try to distract yourself. You tell yourself it might be love, but it’s really something less stable, more like a stubborn, all-consuming attraction that refuses to quieten down and makes you feel a little crazy in the head.
